According to Edmunds Straightline, the BMW M1 is back in 2012 as a plug-in hybrid with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbodiesel straight out of the EfficientDynamics concept to fight off the Audi R8 and SLS AMG.
Though all this information’s preliminary at this point, the new M1 (the last time we saw an M1 — not in concept — was 1981) would apparently be a touch slower than Benz’s SLS Electric with BMW claiming a 4.8-second 0-to-60, along with an electronically-limited top speed of 155 MPH. Still, not to shabby for a hybrid.

While there was some controversy over the legitimacy of the Insurance Institute’s 50th anniversary crash test, it’s hard to argue that today’s cars are exactly what the crash test attempted to show — safer in a collision. It’s become apparent that just because today’s cars are safer doesn’t mean the safety argument is over

Vegas Baby!!
THe Playboy Comedy Show @ The Palms
So Wash tried to set up a trip to Vegas @ Hard Rock. After I coordinated plans with my west coast buddies Wash called me to cancel. Unbelievable!! So I was stuck with a ticket, and no place to stay.
Have no fear, my good friend Paul Hughes hooked me up!! The Playboy Comedy Show @ The Palms.
And I’ll be hanging out with Playmate Lindsey Evans while Wash is enjoying UFC at AAC tonight.
So… what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas… but I’ll post a pic or two from tonight. Thanks Paul!
